Want to create a scalable online business with no team?
I break it all down inside Online Creator Course – everything I’ve learned about making money online, building digital products, and creating financial freedom.
This blog post is based on my YouTube video, where I cover some of the best high-income skills that can help you make money online.
You Don’t Need a Big Team to Build a Profitable Business
Times are changing.
You don’t need a massive team or tons of employees to build a highly profitable and scalable business.
With the right approach, one person can run a business that generates $10K, $20K, even $100K+ per month.
I know this because I did it.
Before I hired anyone, I was making $20,000 a month by myself.
And the best part?
The business ran while I slept.
The Power of Scalable Income
I’ve always been obsessed with doing things that scale—meaning they aren’t tied to how many hours I work.
Why sell your time for an hourly rate when you can build a business that makes money 24/7?
This is the core principle behind creating freedom – building a business that runs on autopilot, giving you time to work less and live more.
Step 1: Find Your Thing (And Stick to It)
The first step is figuring out what skill, knowledge, or expertise you can monetise.
Not sure what that is?
Here’s the harsh truth: if you have no skills, hobbies, or expertise… then you may just be boring..
Skills come from passions, hobbies, and interests.
For me, that was:
Photography & videography (something I loved doing)
Tech & gadgets (I naturally enjoyed learning and talking about them)
Web design & UI/UX (I was obsessed with building websites)
Your business will be much easier to grow if you enjoy what you do and can see yourself doing it for years.
Being a Creator Doesn’t Mean Being on Camera
A lot of people think you have to be a YouTuber or TikToker to make money online.
Not true.
There are many ways to be a creator:
Twitter creators write threads that go viral.
Instagram designers sell templates without showing their face.
Developers build apps and digital tools.
The key is finding something you enjoy and turning it into an income stream.
Step 2: Sell What You Already Know
One of the easiest ways to make money is by selling what you already know.
I’ve done this through courses and digital products.
I created:
Video Creator Course → Helping people improve their video content.
Online Creator Course → Teaching how to make money online.
Digital Products → A catalogue of the different products I sell.
Step 3: Identify a Problem and Solve It
Another way to build a business is to solve a problem.
If you can fix something for people, they will pay you for it.
For example:
My audience wanted to improve their video quality. I created Video Creator Course.
People struggle with personal branding. I launched Online Creator Course.
iPhone users wanted unique wallpapers. I sold a wallpaper pack and made $50,000.
It doesn’t matter if the problem is small or big—if people need a solution, there’s money to be made.
Step 4: Build a Simple Website and Start Selling
Most people overcomplicate launching a business.
You don’t need a perfect website.
You don’t need a crazy marketing funnel.
Just set up a simple landing page and start selling.
Get the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) up and running and refine as you go.
Step 5: Focus on Scalability
If your business isn’t scalable, you’ll always be stuck trading time for money.
A scalable business:
Makes money without needing you to be present.
Allows infinite sales without extra effort.
Can be automated with systems and marketing.
What’s NOT Scalable?
Selling 1:1 coaching with no automation.
Freelancing with a strict hourly rate.
Running an agency with high overhead.
What IS Scalable?
Digital products (wallpapers, templates, courses).
Content creation (YouTube, blogging, social media).
Affiliate marketing (earning commissions for promoting products).
Choose business models that work for you, not against you.
Step 6: Marketing—The Right & Wrong Way
You can’t just create a product and expect money to roll in.
You need marketing.
Two Types of Marketing
Organic → Social media, SEO, YouTube, Twitter, content marketing.
Paid → Facebook ads, Google ads, TikTok ads, influencer promotions.
A mix of both works best.
People often say, “It’s easy for you, you already have an audience.”
But guess what?
I built that audience from scratch.
Companies spend millions on ads.
I built my audience by giving value for years.
Your product should help build your audience, and your audience will help sell your product.
Step 7: Adapt, Pivot, and Scale
A one-person business thrives on flexibility.
I’ve pivoted multiple times:
Web design → Website templates
Digital products → YouTube content
Client work → Passive income
Even KSI went from gaming → music → boxing → launching a drinks brand
Success isn’t about sticking to one thing forever.
It’s about adapting and chasing opportunities.
Anyone Can Build a One-Person Business
Starting a one-person business is more possible than ever.
Here’s the recap:
Find something you enjoy and stick with it.
Sell what you already know (courses, digital products).
Solve a real problem for people.
Build a simple website and launch quickly.
Focus on scalability (digital > physical).
Market smartly (organic & paid).
Adapt & pivot as needed.
And remember, You don’t need a huge audience or a big team.
